Once a claim has been paid by the NDIS and the invoice is showing as Payment Ready, you can create an ABA file to make payments to the relevant providers.
An ABA file allows you to process payments for multiple providers through your organisation's banking system.
Before creating an ABA file, make sure that:
The claim has been processed by the NDIS.
The invoice is showing as Payment Ready in the Processed tab.
There is an Email, BSB and Account number indicated
The invoice has no outstanding Delta that needs to be resolved.
Note: If an invoice has a Delta, you will need to resolve the difference between the invoice total and the sum of its lines before you can create the ABA file.
From the Claims > Payment Ready tab, select the invoices you want to include in the ABA file.
Once you've selected the invoices, click Create ABA.
Once you have selected the invoices, click Create ABA.
A confirmation window will appear showing that the ABA file has been successfully generated, including the number of invoices included in the batch.
From here, click Download ABA File to download the ABA file. You can then upload the file to your banking portal to process the provider payments. After the ABA file has been created, the selected invoices will move to the Payments page.
You can go to Payments to view and manage the payment batch, including the payment status and remittance information.
